Rithor Guys, you are amazing. Please continue what are you doing! Favorite track: The Circle (Omega).

pedram83 Brilliant post-black metal, post-rock: the album has a lot of interesting tracks. The vocals (both clean and harsh) enhance the melancholic atmosphere. The music unlike many post-rock albums, is well-thought authentic collective with thoughtful and partly cryptic lyrics.
My favorite track:
Laniakea Dances (Soleils Couchants)

3verchanger Best album of 2017 hands down. The Circle is brilliant and breathtaking; every song is its own piece of art. Very melancholic and evocative. This is a must-have for any post-metal fan. I cannot recommend this album enough.

The White 04:25
Rise slowly from mother earths arms while your golden lights let me drown in an ocean of beauty. Taken away from this warm and everlasting white and thrown into a world of impermanence and hate. Striving to find a home a purpose until I become part of you part of you. Illuminate...

Inhale 07:15
I inhaled the light of a thousand suns to become what I’m predestined to be. Now I gaze at the blackened skyline shrouding my longing for freedom while I stand in awe of the void cemented by so called free men. A foot in my own grave. My head held high. I’ll try to break these chains – this is my goodbye. Grey structures, both shelter and the poison in my veins. Will we disrupt this culture? They say seasons change. They say seasons change.
4.
Golden Dust 06:26
I will reach out for your light and grasp for the sky. When raindrops fall the blood in my veins is filled with golden dust. Raindrops fall and the heart in my hands is filled with golden dust. Guide me the path I will follow you wherever you take me to. When raindrops fall the blood in my veins is filled with golden dust. Raindrops fall and the heart in my hands is filled with golden dust.

Exhale 05:33
Overgrown ruins in my heart. I behold the reign of greed torn apart... there is no forever there is no forever. Hush now, don’t say a word I’ll be your saviour in the night so cold. Embrace you at the far off shore when the curtain falls. But I listened into the darkness and beyond is nothing, nothing more through eternal night. Now I stand alone in dust and past and devour myself. We’re apart whirling and torn. We’re apart whirling and torn.

Eclipse 06:23
The hours of the day have departed they folded their wings to rest when the last red ray of sunlight faded away in the west and fleecy clouds cover the stars and beyond is a world of blue. Away to a world of azure where white-winged spirits meet while the clouds float and fade below them and the stars shine at their feet. They hold out their hands in welcome and now, for a moment of time limitless worlds and boundless space and planets – they all are mine.
9.
Into oblivion embrace the setting sun stars fall from the heavens. Laniakea dances in bright white shoes entangling me pulling me apart.
10.
I’ve heard the cry of a dying sun fading with the grey resembling a last goodbye to a better yesterday. Just give me hope give me truth give me love and give me life in all the colourless nights. When lights fall collapse from high above you and me will be fading with the grey. I am the white I am the black I am the grey I am void yet I am everything... Under a hopeless sky yearning for answers but the void remains cold. Numbness shattered glass pieces of my past fading with the grey.

Come to me let me smell your scent I’ve waited far too long my bones are frail and fragile. Take my heart I’ve felt everything that’s left to feel. Take my eyes I’ve seen everything worth to see. Take my wooden mask of soul. Take my ears I’ve heard everything that’s left to hear. Take my mouth I’ve said everything worth to say. Take my wooden mask of soul ... to be free again.

about

Following almost 6 years of intense work, Heretoir finally return with their much-anticipated second album “The Circle”!
"The Circle" tells the story of our lives - the cycle of life, death and rebirth.

Interweaving crushing heaviness and atmospheric melancholy, the album portrays an emotional journey – a life dedicated to the sun and to freedom.
Besides another very special coverart by Fursy Teyssier, the album furthermore features guest vocals by none other than Alcest mastermind Stéphane “Neige” Paut, and a powerful mastering by world-renowned sound engineer Lasse Lammert.
